Alltags Projekt is a continuation of my Polaroid Project (consisting of taking one polaroid per day) which began in 1999 in Tokyo and developed further in Melbourne in 2000 & 2001.
I reestablished the project digitally in 2010 in Munich and again in 2015 in Natimuk.
The purpose of this project is to capture the sublime in the everyday and to use the process of photography as a reminder of the importance of seeing rather than looking.
